Job Description

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking - Wealth Management, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering reliable technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable in an agile team environment. Your expertise in Java development, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, AWS cloud services, and database management will be pivotal in ensuring the high performance and reliability of microservices in a cloud environment. **Responsibilities:** - **Design & Development:** Develop and maintain microservices using Java and Spring Boot. - **Cloud Integration:** Deploy, manage, and monitor applications on AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.). - **Database Management:** Design and optimize relational (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases. - **API Development:** Build RESTful APIs to ensure secure and efficient communication between services. - **Testing & Quality:** Write unit, integration, and performance tests; actively participate in code reviews. - **CI/CD:** Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or AWS CodePipeline. - **Monitoring & Logging:** Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting for microservices using AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or similar tools. - **Collaboration:** Engage closely with DevOps, QA, and front-end teams to deliver high-quality solutions. **Requirements:** - **Education:** Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. - **Experience:** 3+ years of Java development experience with a strong background in Spring Boot and microservices. - **Cloud:** Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.). - **Database:** Proficiency in designing and managing relational and/or NoSQL databases. - **API:** Experience in building and consuming RESTful APIs. - **DevOps:** Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - **Tools:** Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and monitoring/logging tools. - **Soft Skills:** Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities. If you possess AWS certifications, have experience with serverless architectures, understand security best practices in cloud environments, and are familiar with Agile methodologies, you are considered a preferred candidate for this role.,
