As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking Risk Technology team, you will be a seasoned member of an agile team responsible for designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your role involves executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to innovate beyond routine approaches. You will also create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications. Key Responsibilities: - Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with innovative approaches - Create secure and high-quality production code, maintain algorithms, and produce architecture and design artifacts - Gather, analyze, synthesize, and develop visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets - Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture - Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events exploring new technologies - Enhance team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications Required: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience - Good knowledge of AWS cloud and its services - Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability - Proficient in coding in Java, Scala, and Pyspark - Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment - Overall understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle - Solid grasp of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security - Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline In addition to the required qualifications, familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies are considered preferred qualifications for this role.,
