Software Engineer III - AI/ML

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Commercial and Investment Bank, particularly in the Payments Technology division, you will play a crucial role in our agile team. Your responsibilities will include designing and delivering secure, stable, and high-quality ML/GenAI technology products. You will be tasked with implementing critical AI technology solutions across different technical domains and business functions, all aimed at supporting the firm's business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems
• Create secure and high-quality production level code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
• Gather, analyzes, synthesizes, and develops visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systems
• Identify hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture systems.
• Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
• Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification onsoftware engineeringconcepts and 3+ years of applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in ML/Gen AI based system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with modern programming language such as Python along with database querying languages SQL.
• Hands-on experience on ML and Gen AI based system development.
• Exposure to ML Techniques like Supervised and Unsupervised Learning methodologies& Exposure to LLM etc.
• Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle especially on Data Science.
• Must have Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Exposure to LLM models like ChatGPT, Google Bard, Claude models etc.
• Exposure to Lang chain, RAG and Fine Tuning of the LLM Models.
• Exposure to AWs/Azure ML platforms
• M Tech/B Tech Engineering
