Software Engineer II Java Full stack

Role Overview: As a Software Engineer II / Java Full Stack Developer at NCR VOYIX, you will be part of a global provider of digital commerce solutions for the retail, restaurant, and banking industries. You will work in an Agile team environment to design and develop high-quality software solutions that enhance consumer experiences through cloud-based, platform-led SaaS, and services capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop high-quality software solutions that meet requirements and promote component reusability. - Diagnose and resolve system failures caused by software errors. - Identify and implement process improvements in engineering practices. - Provide technical content for documentation, user help materials, and customer training. - Conduct unit tests, track issues, and implement changes to ensure adherence to test plans and requirements. - Analyze, design, and implement software mechanisms to enhance code stability, performance, and reusability. - Participate in code review sessions and estimate work efforts accurately. - Apply debugging and troubleshooting techniques to address software defects. - Create comprehensive documentation, including functional and integration test specifications. - Develop and enhance test-driven development practices and adhere to Agile principles within a Scrum environment. - Work with Agile tools for development and continuously improve practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 3+ years of experience in web development. - Strong understanding of software development and quality assurance best practices. - Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. - Ability to grasp business and technical requirements and document them effectively. - Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. - Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities. - Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or Google.
