Job Description

As a Software Engineer II specializing in IME / SingleView and Quality Assurance at Mastercard, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing billing programs to support Mastercards billing processes. Your responsibilities will include participating in requirements discussions, test planning, test data creation, and execution of User Acceptance testing. You will be involved in planning, designing, and developing technical solutions to meet business requirements in alignment with Mastercard standards and best practices. In this role, you will be responsible for testing, implementing, documenting, maintaining, and supporting systems application software according to Mastercard standards. Working closely with the project team, you will ensure timely delivery while identifying and addressing emerging issues. You will also contribute to documenting software programs per Software Development Best Practices and adhere to Mastercard Quality Assurance and Quality Control processes. Your technical expertise in PERL, Unix Scripting, SQL, Database, API, Selenium, and Java will be essential for success in this role. Prior knowledge in IME and SingleView billing products from CSGI would be a significant advantage. To excel in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or possess equivalent work experience. Being high-energy, detail-oriented, and proactive with the ability to work independently under pressure will be key to your success. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, along with excellent relationship-building, collaborative, and organizational skills are essential. You should be able to work effectively as a member of a matrix-based, diverse, and geographically distributed project team. Furthermore, experience in Agile using Behavior-Driven Development framework is desired. Your familiarity with Unix Scripting, SQL, Database, API, Selenium, and Java will be advantageous in this role.
