Software Engineer II A - GBS IND

Role Overview: As a Software Developer at Bank of America, you will be responsible for developing and delivering software requirements to achieve business goals. You will ensure that the software meets functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. Your role will involve coding solutions, performing unit tests, and integrating the solution successfully into the application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Additionally, you will contribute to story refinement, estimating work, conducting spike/proof of concept activities, and fine-tuning system performance. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements - Code solutions, perform unit tests, and ensure compliance with acceptance criteria and requirements - Utilize multiple architectural components in designing and developing client requirements - Assist the team in resolving technical complexities and optimizing system performance - Contribute to test suites and analyze test reports for identifying and resolving issues - Document and communicate necessary information for deployment, maintenance, and support - Participate in delivery/release events and coach team members as needed Qualifications Required: - Education: B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech; M.C.A. [with B.Sc., B.Com, BBM]; M.Sc. (Computer Science, IT, S/W, Mathematics, Electronics, Physics, Statistics) - Certifications (if any): CSA, CSSA, LSA (Optional) - Experience Range: 6-8+ years - Foundational Skills: Experience in Case Management, Client Lifecycle Management (CLM), SQL, J2EE application development; familiarity with RPA, AI, ML, NLP; Pega LSA certification is a plus - Desired Skills: Effective communication in English Additional Details: Bank of America is committed to providing a diverse and inclusive workplace for all employees.
