Job Description

The Software Development Engineer position at Cisco IT offers you the opportunity to be part of a team of highly proficient software engineers dedicated to implementing and deploying Cisco's next generation of IT software. In this role, you will craft and develop private and public cloud software with integrated automation and monitoring tools. You will also collaborate with software development teams in an Agile DevOps model, operating within a highly Agile development environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work with teams globally and the flexibility to work from home. Minimum qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field, or equivalent work experience. You should have 7+ years of software development experience with Angular Java full stack, PL/SQL, and databases like MongoDB and Oracle. Experience working with data structures, Kafka, and ELK, as well as using Angular for Java development, is expected. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
