Software Engineer (DevOps - Azure/AWS)

As a DevOps Engineer at our Mangalore office, you will play a crucial role in supporting our development team by managing infrastructure, automating deployments, and ensuring system reliability for our product-based projects. Your responsibilities will include setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, managing cloud infrastructure for scalability and reliability, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing security best practices. Additionally, you will automate repetitive tasks using scripting and tools like Ansible or Terraform, collaborate with developers to optimize application deployment processes, provide occasional support for production incidents and system upgrades, and document infrastructure setups and processes for team reference. To excel in this role, you should have at least 3 years of experience in DevOps or system administration roles. Proficiency in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions is essential. Experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, as well as containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, is required. You should possess a strong knowledge of Linux systems and scripting languages like Bash and Python, along with familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and security practices. Comfort with navigating and understanding large application codebases to support integration, deployment, and debugging workflows is beneficial. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are also essential for this role.
