Software Engineer-Cobol, JCL, DB2/IMS

Role Overview: As an employee at Amdocs, you will play a crucial role in accelerating service providers" transition to the cloud, enabling differentiation in the 5G era, and digitalizing and automating operations. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, modify, debug, and maintain software systems. You will adhere to functional, non-functional, and technical design specifications, following Amdocs software engineering standards and applicable software development methodologies. Your role will involve ensuring that the code is maintainable, scalable, and supportable, and demonstrating the software products to stakeholders. Additionally, you will investigate issues, provide fixes and workarounds, review changes for operability, collaborate within a team, participate in peer code reviews, and work with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
