Software Engineer - Big Data

As a Software Engineer at Wells Fargo, your role involves participating in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects within the technology domain. You will be responsible for tasks such as installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts. Additionally, you will identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements, design, code, test, debug, and document projects associated with the technology domain. Your responsibilities also include reviewing and analyzing technical assignments related to low to medium risk deliverables, providing recommendations for issue resolution, and collaborating with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects within the technology domain - Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements - Design, code, test, debug, and document projects associated with the technology domain - Review and analyze technical assignments related to low to medium risk deliverables - Provide recommendations for issue resolution and collaborate with stakeholders Qualifications Required: - 2+ years of software engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education Desired Qualifications: - 2+ years of application development and implementation experience - 2+ years of Data, SQL, Bigdata experience - Excellent working experience and deeper knowledge in SQL, ETL Technologies, NoSQL DBs, and Big data - Exposure to DW-BI Development - Expertise in SQL and Big Data - Good understanding and experience in building Cloud Native enterprise applications - Experience implementing Unit Testcases and data validations - Experience with data quality and data testing - Well-versed with CI/CD tools - Ability to work in a hybrid work schedule - Ability to work during weekends as needed or scheduled - Ability to work outside of regular business hours as needed or scheduled In this role at Wells Fargo, you will be part of a diverse and inclusive work environment where employees support the focus on building strong customer relationships while maintaining a risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture.
