As an experienced Software Engineer (Atlassian/Jira Apps)/ Jira Plugin Developer, your role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining custom Jira apps/plugins to enhance productivity and extend Jira's capabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining custom Jira apps/plugins for Cloud, Server, and Data Center environments. - Designing and implementing scalable solutions using Atlassian Forge, Connect, and SDK frameworks. - Collaborating with product, QA, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality Jira solutions. - Integrating Jira apps with third-party systems using REST APIs and webhooks. - Ensuring that apps meet Atlassian Marketplace standards and best practices. - Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. - Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimizing app performance. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and experience: - 2+ years of software development experience, with at least 1 year focused on Atlassian/Jira app development. - Strong expertise in Jira app architecture, development, and implementation. - Hands-on experience with Atlassian Forge & Connect (Cloud apps), Atlassian SDK (Server/Data Center apps), REST APIs, OAuth, JSON, JavaScript, Node.js, React.js (Cloud apps), Java / Spring Boot (Server/Data Center apps), relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.), Agile methodologies, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
