Job Description

Role Overview: You will be joining the Lifecycle Innovation and Optimization (LIO) team at Cisco, specifically the Cisco.com Engineering team. Your primary focus will be on crafting a top-tier digital experience for customers and partners interacting with the Cisco.com website. You will be at the forefront of developing modern technologies and integrating artificial intelligence tools to ensure agility and adaptability in the constantly evolving market. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement solutions for business problems related to Cisco.com and web platforms, and provide operational support - Ensure code quality assurance, provide design and architectural guidance, conduct code reviews, and foster collaboration within the team - Collaborate with design, development, business architects, and other key stakeholders to advance architecture - Participate as an Agile team member, understanding your domain thoroughly - Contribute to crafting technical approaches and solutions by looking at the end-to-end perspective - Learn from production insights and suggest improved future solutions - Analyze trade-offs between options and make recommendations on solutions and approaches Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant Engineering field with 7+ years of professional experience in IT or software development OR Master's degree in Computer Science or a relevant Engineering field with 5+ years of professional experience in IT or software development - 4+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Guides, technical documentation management, and multi-channel publishing - Proficiency in DITA (Darwin Information Typing Architecture), DITA-OT (DITA Open Toolkit), XSLT, XSL-FO, Java, scripting languages, Java/J2EE, RESTful web services, and Apache Kafka - Experience with Agile software development, CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git, SonarQube), and familiarity with the broader Adobe Experience Manager platform Additional Company Details: Cisco is revolutionizing data and infrastructure connectivity and protection for organizations in the AI era and beyond.
