Job Description

Role Overview: You will be part of the Lifecycle Innovation and Optimization (LIO) team at Cisco, specifically working in the Cisco.com Engineering team. Your main focus will be on developing a top-notch digital experience for customers and partners interacting with the Cisco.com website. You will play a crucial role in implementing modern technologies, artificial intelligence tools, and models to ensure an agile and adaptive digital platform that supports all lifecycle stages. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement solutions and approaches for business problems related to Cisco.com and web platforms, while providing operational support - Ensure code quality assurance, give design and architectural guidance, conduct code reviews, and encourage collaboration within the team - Engage in dialogues with design, development, business architects, and other stakeholders to advance the architecture - Act as an Agile team member, understand your domain thoroughly, and contribute to crafting technical approaches and solutions - Analyze trade-offs between options and make recommendations on solutions and approaches - Learn from production insights and propose enhanced future solutions Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a relevant Engineering field with at least 7 years of experience in IT or software development OR Master's degree in Computer Science or a relevant Engineering field with at least 5 years of experience in IT or software development - 4+ years of hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) Guides, technical documentation management, and multi-channel publishing - Proficiency in DITA and DITA-OT, including performance tuning and debugging DITA-OT builds - Hands-on experience with XSLT, XSL-FO, Java, scripting languages, Java/J2EE, RESTful web services, and Apache Kafka - Experience with Agile software development, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Jenkins, Git, SonarQube or similar tools - Familiarity with the broader Adobe Experience Manager platform Additional Company Details: Cisco is at the forefront of revolutionizing how data and infrastructure connect and protect organizations in the AI era and beyond.
