Software Engineer 3

As a System Test Engineer, your role will involve building system testbeds using various Mist Access Points and other networking devices and servers. You will be responsible for QA validation of 802.11 Wireless and Mist proprietary features, as well as automating test cases using the selenium and pytest framework. Your tasks will also include end-to-end validation of client to cloud architecture, recreating customer issues in the lab, and collaborating closely with US and India Engineering Teams to drive issue resolution. Additionally, you will conduct performance testing using iPerf, review customer report defects with the CS team, and enhance test coverage. Timely escalation of critical issues, creating bugs in Jira, and tracking them closely with the Engineering team will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be involved in creating technical documentation for CS and QA teams in Confluence, as well as training and guiding Level 1/2 Engineers on emerging wireless technologies. Qualifications required for this role include a BE/ME/MS in EE, CS, or a related discipline. You should have advanced knowledge of python/scripting, hands-on experience in automating test cases using python, and automating UI test cases using selenium. In-depth knowledge of any automation framework and selenium, as well as of 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax protocol standards is essential. Hands-on experience in QA validation of Enterprise-grade Wireless Access Points and familiarity with various 802.11 protocols such as 802.11r/k/v are key requirements. Your ability to quickly and accurately assess the technical aspects of a problem, along with a minimum of 5 years of experience, will be valuable assets in this role.,
