As a member of the Enterprise Test Engineering ("ETE") family at DTCC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards. Your impact will encompass functional testing, non-functional testing, test architecture, and enablement. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, conducting, and evaluating testing processes in collaboration with developers to remediate system defects - Utilizing automated testing tools and quality control approaches to create a reusable foundational test automation framework for the organization - Providing centralized, independent quality assurance services across the firm, including functional and non-functional testing for all products, services, and applications - Designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing solutions to ensure the functionality of solutions and adherence to design specifications Your primary responsibilities in this role will include: - Preparing, maintaining, and completing manual test cases based on user stories; presenting results and tracking defects to closure - Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and ensuring traceability from business requirements through test cases to automated scripts - Reviewing test cases and automation approach with customers to ensure comprehensive coverage and acquire feedback - Leading and mentoring a team of test engineers, providing guidance, training, and support for their success - Constructing appropriate end-to-end business scenarios by applying a broad understanding of business objectives and goals - Collaborating with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues - Providing mentorship to colleagues related to test coverage and test cases, and developing a detailed understanding of the product being delivered - Ensuring process compliance and associated documentation, and aligning risk and control processes to supervise and mitigate risks effectively Qualifications required for this role include a minimum of 4 years of related experience, with a Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience. The talents needed for success in this role include: - Hands-on experience in API/XML Testing and Selenium with Java - Extensive experience with testing modern scripting language-based components - Proficiency in writing SQL queries and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins - Experience with front-end and backend testing using Java and Selenium - Knowledge of Agile/Waterfall methodologies, onsite/offshore work models, and coordination - In-depth understanding of the software implementation lifecycle, testing models, methodologies, and processes - Ability to work effectively with both business clients and technical teams independently and collaboratively - Preferably from a Financial domain background At DTCC, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative projects, collaborate with a dynamic team, and receive investment in your professional development.
