As Senior Manager of Clinical Development within our DSE team, you will:
- Lead a high-performing engineering team focused on healthcare escalations, automation, and EHR integrations.
- Drive critical escalation management, ensuring root cause resolution and sustainable fixes for high-severity healthcare system issues.
- Define strategy and roadmap for automation, observability, and AI/ML adoption, improving reliability, predictive monitoring, and self-healing capabilities.
- Partner with healthcare customers on EHR modernization, interoperability, and clinical trial data integrations while ensuring compliance with standards such as HIPAA, FHIR, and HL7.
- Build a culture of continuous improvement through playbooks, metrics dashboards, and knowledge sharing.
- Mentor and grow the team, fostering technical excellence, leadership development, and customer-first ownership.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to influence product roadmaps and represent DSE as a thought leader in improving healthcare integration and clinical reporting reliability.
Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
- 12+ years of experience in healthcare IT, clinical systems, or enterprise integrations, with at least 5+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven track record in managing critical healthcare system escalations under high-pressure conditions.
- Strong expertise in healthcare data standards: HL7, FHIR, X12, EHR integrations, and clinical reporting systems.
- Experience with automation, diagnostics, and observability tooling for regulated environments.
- Deep understanding of healthcare compliance (HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11, GxP, and interoperability mandates).
- Hands-on expertise in AI/ML applications in enterprise support, including:
- ML models for anomaly detection, log analysis, and predictive escalation management.
- Generative AI for guided troubleshooting, documentation, and automated remediation workflows.
- AI-powered observability and monitoring systems for proactive error detection and prevention.
- Knowledge of explainable AI frameworks and alignment with healthcare compliance (HIPAA, FDA, EU MDR).
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive-level communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence product direction through field learnings in healthcare and clinical development.
