Summary:As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies, and ensuring that the software meets the required standards and client expectations. You will engage in problem-solving and decision-making processes that impact the project and the team, fostering an environment of innovation and efficiency. Roles & Responsibilities:- Define and maintain configuration management infrastructure-Ensure consistent, frequent, and complete project baselines-Trace and control modifications across product versions-Design lifecycle models that fulfill requirements for all work product categories-Maintain comprehensive overview and control of configuration items-Define project-wide naming conventions and documentation standards-Regulate and standardize work product exchange and related reporting-Define and implement documentation control processes-Create and maintain a unified work product overview document listing all artifacts-Ensure all team members have access to up-to-date configuration information-Provide meaningful and current status reports on configuration items-Establish and manage project baselines-Define purpose, goals, scope, responsibilities, and quality assurance deliverables-Schedule and align all quality management activities with the project lifecycle-Continuously assess process quality, mitigate non-conformances, and ensure compliance with organizational process regulations Professional & Technical
Skills:
- Automotive ECU Development with Aspice:Hands-on experience in development and configuration management for automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs)-ASPICE (Automotive SPICE):-Certified Aspice level2 provisional assessor-Strong working knowledge and practical experience with ASPICE Level 2 processes and assessments-Ability to ensure project adherence to ASPICE standards and manage ASPICE-related audits and evaluations-Experience coordinating with internal and external ASPICE stakeholders such as ASPICE assessors, SQILs, and GQ representativesCybersecurity-Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles relevant to software and configuration managementQuality Management Responsibilities-Ensure deliveries, work products, and processes conform to contractual and internal quality obligations-Define and manage Quality Management Plans and associated documentation (e.g., spot checks, release reviews, process audits)-Monitor, document, and escalate process adherence and quality status across the project lifecycle-Provide objective quality criteria (metrics and checklists) for work products-Facilitate coaching and support for project teams to meet quality standards-Forward quality metrics and reports to internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Audi GQ, ASPICE assessors, ISO 9001 auditors)-Hinder releases if contractually defined quality is not met-Independently ensure process conformity and decide on mandatory quality improvements
Additional Information:- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full time education is required. -Bachelor of Technology, Bachelor of Engineering, or higher degree in Electronics /Computer Science & Engineering Qualification 15 years full time education
