As a Software Developer specializing in Implementation & Support, you will be an integral part of our IT team in Chennai. Your primary focus will be on software development, implementation, and support tasks to ensure the smooth functionality and continuous enhancement of our systems. You will collaborate with internal teams and end-users to address software-related queries, update database tables for application support and data correction, and resolve software bugs in existing applications. Additionally, you will be responsible for writing, testing, and deploying scripts and modules for process automation, reporting, and application enhancement. Your role will also involve participating in new feature development, conducting root cause analysis for reported issues, and ensuring all changes follow standard coding and documentation practices. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, along with 7 to 12 years of experience in software development and support. Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server), as well as experience in modern programming/scripting languages, is essential. Familiarity with software development methodologies and bug tracking/project management tools will be advantageous.
