Software Development Engineer - Service Management

The Senior ServiceNow Developer is responsible for designing and developing scoped applications, processes, and creating code solutions to meet the requirements of clients" sprint activities. Additionally, they may implement custom applications and features, as well as contribute to automation and innovation initiatives. This role plays a crucial part in the extended ServiceNow team and carries out various responsibilities such as requirement gathering, development, analytics, app delivery, and Level 3 support within the specific domain area. Working under the supervision of the Platform architect and collaborating with other team members, the Senior ServiceNow Developer is tasked with integrating ServiceNow with other platforms and developing custom applications on the ServiceNow platform. Key Responsibilities: - Design and deploy custom ServiceNow applications and integrations following established development practices. - Communicate with and manage business stakeholders across departments. - Develop custom widgets, portal pages, and related components. - Implement dynamic filtering capabilities and search functionality on the portal. - Create system integrations and process automation using the platform's app engine and integration hub capabilities. - Develop scripts, workflows, and solutions using available tools and best practices. - Gather detailed solution requirements and translate them into functional solutions. - Utilize Agile methodology for development. - Uphold a strong modular code/scripting philosophy. Tasks & Deliverables: - Develop and deploy custom ServiceNow applications and integrations adhering to organization's development practices. - Create scripts, workflows, and solutions following established tools and practices. Skills & Experience: - 6+ years of industry experience as a developer/user of the ServiceNow platform. - Proficiency in ITSM, CMDB, Custom App, Flow Designer, Mobile, and Portal. - 5+ years of ServiceNow development experience. - Functional expertise in JavaScript, CSS/SCSS, ES5+, HTML, SQL. - 5 years of industry experience as a developer on the ServiceNow platform, with a focus on ITSM, CMDB, Custom App, Flow Designer, Mobile, and Portal.,
