Role Overview: As a Software Development Engineer Lead (iOS) at Veltris, you will be a key member of the iOS Development Team, responsible for designing and implementing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable iOS applications. You will lead by example, participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, collaborate with cross-functional product teams, and mentor junior developers to deliver robust, high-performance, and user-centric applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement high-quality, scalable, and maintainable iOS applications using Swift and Clean Architecture principles. - Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle including planning, design, coding, testing, and deployment. - Lead by example through hands-on development, code reviews, and continuous integration. - Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to define and validate user stories, ensuring they meet acceptance criteria. - Develop and execute test strategies, test specifications, and automation frameworks for new and existing features. - Integrate automated tests with the CI/CD infrastructure, monitor execution results, and drive quality improvements. - Mentor and guide junior developers and testers, fostering a culture of learning and technical excellence. - Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, defects, and technical challenges. - Research and evaluate new tools, frameworks, and processes to improve engineering and testing practices. Qualification Required: - Languages: Swift, Objective-C, C++ - 4 to 6 years of software development experience with at least 2 years in iOS development and team leadership. - Frameworks/Tools: Cocoa, Xcode, SwiftUI, Firebase - Concepts: Clean Architecture, Threading, Processes, Application Lifecycle - Methodologies: Agile, TDD, BDD - APIs & Cloud: HTTP, REST, Cloud integrations - Experience with iPad application development is a plus. - Experience in technically leading a team. - Ability to create reports for stakeholders. - Good understanding of software development best practices - Passion for product quality and attention to detail - Passion for finding bottlenecks and thresholds in existing code Additional Details about Veltris: Veltris offers an opportunity to work with global clients and emerging technologies in a learning-driven culture with access to continuous upskilling.
