Role Description: As a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at AlphaSense, you will be part of the dynamic engineering Content Mission. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the product by incorporating quality ownership within the team. Your skills in automation, cloud services, Kubernetes, and modern programming languages will play a vital role in driving the testing strategy and delivering high-quality software. Collaboration with developers, product managers, and stakeholders is essential to identify test requirements and contribute to the overall quality strategy and product development. Requirements: - Minimum 2 years of Software Development experience with proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or Python. - Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals. - Experience in Whitebox testing and API automation using tools like RestAssured. - Hands-on experience in building and maintaining scalable Automation Frameworks. - Basic knowledge of developing applications in frameworks such as SpringBoot, Django, or FastAPI. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment. - Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders. Nice to have: - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, and TestKube. - Experience in frontend testing and automation tools. - Knowledge of performance testing tools like K6 and JMeter. - Understanding of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Loki.
