Job Description

Software Development Engineer II (Backend), with a focus on health IT interoperability

A Day in the Life

Develop efficient interoperability services that will power data flows for Innovaccer applications
Identify and communicate best practices
Participate in the project life cycle from pitch/prototyping through definition and design to build, integration, QA, and delivery
Analyze and improve the performance, scalability, stability, and security of our platform
Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes

What You Need

Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
3+ years of experience, with a start-up mentality and willingness to learn
Understanding of, and commitment to, the role of AI in speeding the development process
Expertise in Python, and RESTful APIs
Familiarity with the HL7 FHIR standard, or other healthcare IT interoperability formats such as C-CDA, XDS.b/XCA, or Direct
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to influence peers and management, and champion best practices
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
