Software Development Engineer I

Designs and implements scalable backend systems and responsive frontend components for our AdTech and personalisation platforms. Develop algorithms for data processing, real-time bidding, and audience segmentation, and ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend functionalities. Work with cross-functional teams on integrating third-party APIs and developing robust internal APIs to expand our AdTech capabilities. Contribute to the implementation and optimisation of machine learning models for targeted advertising and content personalisation. Engage in code reviews and uphold high standards of code quality, contributing to our culture of technical excellence.

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or related fields with a strong academic record

• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Go Lang, and familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Vuejs, Angular)
• Understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL), data modelling, UI/UX design and basic machine learning concepts
• Focus area regarding campus tests interviews: In-depthunderstanding of their academic course syllabus high school science mathematics(We think that those who are dedicated in their academics will also show the same dedication at work; we'do not appreciate statements such as "I have lost touch with that subject because I studied it 2 semesters back")
• In-depth understanding of core CS topics- Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Computer Networks, Database design, Data structures and Algorithms
• We expect students to be familiar with top international reference text books in each of those subjects, instead of merely passing exams by memorising "powerpoint" presentation slides given in their classrooms
• Ability to write clearly understandable programs in C / C++ / Python / Ruby / JS / Java We are not looking for students who have done superficial ML / AI projects
