Job Description

Job Title: Senior Developer / Technical Lead .NET

Experience:

Required Skills

Proficiency in Visual Basic (VB.NET) and C#
Experience with ASP.NET Web Forms using the .NET Framework (Full Framework)
Strong knowledge of T-SQL and relational database design
Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues independently
Ability to interpret and implement technical documentation and 'how-to' guides
Ability to maintain and improve internal documentation
NuGet Package Management, including:
Updating package versions
Restoring and building applications with external dependencies

Familiarity With

Git and GitHub for version control and collaboration
Creating and Maintaining libraries used by multiple applications
IIS (Internet Information Services) for hosting and configuring web applications
Visual Studio as the primary development environment
SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS) for database interaction
Understanding of CI/CD pipeline requirements
Working knowledge of object-oriented programming (OOP) and design patterns

Nice to Have

Experience troubleshooting GitHub Actions workflows
Familiarity with unit testing, preferably using xUnit
Experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools
Knowledge of SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) and SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)
Exposure to desktop application development (e.g., WinForms or WPF)

Additional Considerations

Demonstrated ability to work independently and take ownership of features or modules
Experience contributing to code reviews, technical design discussions, or architecture decisions
Comfort working in legacy codebases and incrementally modernizing them
