Key & Technical Experience:

1. Broad knowledge of web security standards relating to APIs OAuth, SSL, CORS, JWT, etc
2. Ability to understand infrastructure design documents and be able to use them to develop necessary policies, scripts and code on DataPower
3. Extensive coding experience with either Java/Spring or Nodejs
4. Design and implement API gateway solutions using Kong Gateway.
5. Develop custom plugins using Lua to extend Kong functionality.
6. Responsible for developing API swagger from API define and mapping specifications.
7. Develop and Troubleshoot message translation related issues while communicating with backend JSON to XML & XML to JSON ,
8. Understanding of differences between SOA and API design
9. At least 3 years of experience in IBM API Connect
10. At least 3 years of experience in Kong.
11. At least 3 years of experience in software development life cycle
12. At least 3 years of experience with IBM DataPower
13. Extensive experience designing and developing RESTful APIs
14. Experienced in Kubernetes platform
15. Experience with Openshift, AWS/Azure Cloud Infrastructures is good to have.
16. Configure and manage routing, authentication, rate limiting, logging, and monitoring policies.
17. Integrate Kong with identity providers (OAuth2, JWT, OpenID Connect).
18. Ability to understand infrastructure design documents and be able to use them to develop necessary policies, scripts and code.

Good to Have:

1. Hand-on experience in installing and configuring Kong API Gateway and integrating with existing APIs.
2. Experience working on Kong Ingress with Kubernetes and configurations.
3. Nice to have Drupal development knowledge
4. Good Understanding of platform to monitor and Debug any platform or application issues.
5. Experience with Application Security considerations; including knowledge of Industry standards and trends.
6. Must have experience of Banking, SOA Delivery methodology
7. Contributed to best approach strategies for SOA implementation based on Service Analysis.
8. Prepare technical designs documents for multiple projects.
9. Involved in inception/ strengthening of SOA practice.
10. Good Understanding in Devops
