Job Description

Role Overview: As a Software Developer at Siemens Energy, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and extending existing software to support new product lines and customer requirements. Your responsibilities will include enhancing the current software architecture for improved scalability, collaborating with cross-functional teams, writing clean and efficient code, identifying and resolving technical issues, and supporting legacy systems. Your contribution will be key in ensuring seamless and efficient user experiences. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and extend existing software to support new product lines and customer requirements. - Enhance current software architecture for improved scalability and maintainability. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless and efficient user experiences. - Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for various applications. - Identify and resolve technical issues and bugs in a timely manner. - Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and reviews. - Support legacy systems, including applications written in Fortran. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering. - 5-8 years of hands-on experience in software development. - Proficiency in C# .NET, Python, and PIMCORE. - Practical knowledge of SOLID principles and design patterns. - Experience with Windows front-end technologies such as WPF & WinForms. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Knowledge of Fortran is a significant advantage. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities.,
