In the role of Senior Associate - Software Developer specializing in Java and GoLang Mid-Tier, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and debugging software for both new and existing products. Your tasks will involve adhering to designated development practices, timelines, and quality expectations to ensure the delivery of high-quality, testable, and scalable software solutions. Your responsibilities will include actively collaborating with project stakeholders to ensure that the implementation meets functional requirements and aligns with established R&D standards. You will participate in project scoping and scheduling, track task progress, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to address any issues hindering task completion. Additionally, you will be involved in quality assurance through functional, unit, and performance testing, as well as providing support for internal and external consumers throughout the code lifecycle. To be successful in this role, you should have 2-5 years of software development experience using core Java and GoLang. You should possess a good understanding of JPA, hands-on experience with Core Java, JSP, Servlet, and related technologies like Tomcat Webserver, JDBC, Spring MVC, Hibernate, and RDBMS. Experience in Rest API, SOAP API, GoLang proficiency, PostgreSQL knowledge, and familiarity with tools like Junit, Unix/Linux operating systems, Gradle, and Maven will be beneficial. You will also be expected to write clean, testable, and efficient code, participate in peer reviews, unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, troubleshoot production issues, and contribute to performance tuning and optimization efforts. As part of the eligibility criteria, you will be required to work in a hybrid mode and commute to the Magarpatta Pune office at least 2 days a week. Successful completion of a background investigation is also mandatory for employment.
