Job Summary

What You'll Do

• Lead the

  design and impact analysis

  for backend-heavy product roadmap features.
• Develop and unit test APIs and services in

  Python

  (FastAPI, Django Rest Framework, etc.).
• Optimize database schemas and queries for

  high performance and scalability

  .
• Conduct

  code reviews

  with a focus on backend robustness and system design.
• Perform

  performance profiling

  of APIs, queries, and services.
• Collaborate with frontend engineers and designers to deliver complete end-to-end features.
• Contribute to

  CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and QA processes

  .

Who You Are

• Strong experience designing and maintaining

  enterprise web applications and APIs in Python

  .
• Expertise with backend technologies, including:

  • Python frameworks

    : Django Rest Framework, FastAPI, or similar

  • Relational databases

    : MySQL (query optimization, profiling)

  • Messaging systems

    : Kafka

  • ORM libraries

• Solid frontend development experience with:
  • TypeScript / JavaScript
  • React, React-query
  • Storybook, Tailwind CSS, SASS
  • Jest, React Testing Library
• Nice-to-have:
  • Next.js, MongoDB
  • Kubernetes, GCP, Terraform
  • DevSecOps practices: CI/CD, TDD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• Proven ability to

  architect backend systems

  for reliability, performance, and maintainability.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and with non-technical stakeholders.
• Eagerness to work in cross-functional teams and own features end-to-end.
