Software Developer (C/C++) Application/Tools Focus

As a C/C++ Developer, your responsibilities will include: - Designing, implementing, and maintaining C/C++ applications and internal tooling such as build tools and command-line utilities. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Writing clean, modular, and efficient code that adheres to coding standards and best practices. - Developing unit tests and integration tests, as well as participating in continuous integration workflows. - Troubleshooting and debugging issues in both development and production environments. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience. - Solid understanding of modern C++ (C++11/14/17) and object-oriented programming principles. - Familiarity with build systems such as CMake, Makefiles, and cross-platform development. - Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. - Experience with Git, including branching, merging, and pull requests. In addition to the required qualifications, the following desired skills and attributes would be beneficial: - Personal projects or contributions to open-source C/C++ libraries, frameworks, or tools. - Exposure to libraries such as Boost, STL containers/algorithms, or Qt for GUI. - Familiarity with static code analysis tools like clang-tidy and cppcheck. - Knowledge of network programming (sockets), multithreading, or performance profiling is a plus. - Ability to learn quickly, take ownership of tasks, and communicate effectively in a collaborative environment.,
