Software Developer- Android

In the fast-growing optical business of Lenskart, you will be an integral part of a high impact team with an ambitious mission to revolutionize the eyewear industry. As an Android Software Engineer or Technical Lead, your primary responsibility will be to design and build applications for the Android platform (Kotlin) and Gateway Services (NodeJs) to advance the company's vision of being the Numero Uno eyewear provider in India. You will play a crucial role in executing initiatives aimed at achieving key business goals through experimentation and measurement. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality technology and features to enhance the eyewear industry. - Design and develop applications for Android platform and Gateway Services - Continuously explore and implement new technologies for efficient development - Collaborate with Product Managers and SDET teams to estimate project timelines - Provide optimal scalable solutions based on product specifications - Take complete ownership of features, perform RCAs, and resolve production bugs promptly - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce new features - Conduct unit tests to ensure code robustness and reliability - Uphold best coding practices throughout the design, development, and testing process - Minimum 2 years of experience in Android development using Kotlin - Proficiency in working with Product Managers and UX Designers - Strong product sense and the ability to own significant areas of product design and usability - Excellent teamwork, flexibility, and multitasking abilities - Familiarity with software engineering life cycle best practices - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures - Experience in executing RCAs and solving challenging engineering problems - Recognition by upper management for outstanding contributions - Involvement in open-source projects or pet projects,
