Job Description

Responsibilities include: Lead a development team to deliver new products, features and enhancements using Agile methodologies, in close collaboration with the Product Owners, Developers, QA Engineers, and Architects. Provide strategic technical input and architecture to the Product Owner. Function as the first point of escalation to resolve team blockers, ensure development velocity and achieve committed sprint goals. Communicate progress, risks, and technical challenges effectively and in a timely manner. Manage day-to-day team activities and mentor team members in their career development. Actively contribute to the codebase and participate in development activities as a hands-on leader. Stay updated with emerging technologies and apply relevant innovations to improve team and product outcomes. Required Education and Skills: Minimum 10 years of experience in Software development of complex applications with excellent understanding of design principles and considerations. Proven experience in leading Agile delivery teams and mentoring engineers. Strong Java development background, with expertise in microservices architecture, unit testing, and Spring Boot. Experience with cloud and SaaS-based development, particularly on Azure and/or AWS, and containerization using Docker, Kubernetes, etc. Experience with Web front-end and back-end technologies.: HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, Angular, RESTful APIs using Microservices (NodeJS,), Express, JSON, OData, Web Sockets, and Java EE. Familiarity with build pipeline tools and technologies such as: Jenkins, Gitlab, Gradle Working in an Agile development environment. Self-driven and proactive, with a willingness to take initiative and ownership of tasks. Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills A team player who can coach junior developers, collaborate on complex problems, and support team success. Comfortable working with remote and distributed teams across time zones.
