Software Architect - Mobile

The role of Software Architect at CyberArk in Hyderabad, India involves designing scalable high-performance applications as part of a talented team of software engineers. As a Software Architect, you will be responsible for the software architecture, design, and documentation of software projects. Your role includes writing and reviewing Low Level Design documents, setting coding standards, and coaching less experienced team members. You will also be involved in various phases of the software life cycle, managing Tech Debts, and collaborating with peers on feature implementation and refactors. In this position, you will work closely with System Architects, project management, and colleagues in strategy to ensure that technology aligns with business goals. You will assist in gathering and analyzing requirements, estimating costs and efforts, specifying nonfunctional requirements, and ensuring performance and security standards are met. The role also involves adherence to CyberArk Engineering practices and security coding guidelines. To qualify for this role, you should have 7-10 years of professional experience with hands-on development of Android and IOS native applications, along with 4+ years of experience as a Software Architect. You should possess 6+ years of hands-on experience in UI/UX, JavaScript, and Angular, and have a broad understanding of web domain areas such as backend, frontend, and DevOps. Decision-making skills, risk assessment abilities, and familiarity with system integration design patterns are key requirements for this position. The ideal candidate should have strong software engineering design and development experience, expertise in building microservices, hands-on experience with mobile notification services and web services (e.g., REST, SOAP), and a good understanding of security best practices. Proficiency in PostgreSQL and relationship databases, as well as experience in creating technical and architectural documents, are also essential for this role. Additionally, experience in Requirement/Design/Code Review & Inspections practices will be beneficial for this position.,
