Software Architect

As a Software Architect at our company, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and high-performance software features. Your responsibilities will include defining the overall software architecture, selecting appropriate technologies, providing technical leadership, mentoring team members, establishing coding standards, and ensuring software security practices. You will collaborate with various teams to align software architecture with business goals and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Software Architecture Design:** Define the overall software architecture and technical roadmap for the organization. - **Technology Stack Selection:** Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and tools for software development. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends. - **Platform Design / Changes:** Review and provide guidance for any platform changes or enhancements. Technical designs should be created by team leaders. - **Technical Leadership:** Provide guidance to the development team, collaborate with developers to resolve technical challenges, and oversee the PR and Merging process. - **Mentoring and Training:** Mentor and train team leaders and members to ensure they are well-informed about the platform. - **Software Development Standards:** Establish coding standards and best practices to ensure high-quality software development. - **Technical Debts:** Review technical debt items with the team, offer guidance, and approve proposed changes. - **Performance and Scalability:** Mentor the team to implement scalable and performant solutions. - **Security and Compliance:** Define and enforce software security practices and standards. - **Collaboration and Communication:** Collaborate with other teams to align software architecture with business goals. - **Release Management:** Define the release management process and oversee the deployment process. - **System Documentation:** Maintain system technical documentation in a well-structured manner. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in a senior engineering role. - Excellent communication skills in English. - Willingness to travel occasionally to the US for team meetings. - Flexibility to work in different time zones and manage teams across multiple locations. - Strong technical expertise in SaaS product development practices. - Familiarity with agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. - Strong organizational and time management skills. - Knowledge of software development lifecycle and best practices in software engineering.
