Soft Skills Trainer

We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Soft Skills/Employability Skills Trainer to conduct engaging training sessions for undergraduate students in arts and science colleges in Tamil Nadu. Your primary responsibility will be to empower students with vital workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, interview preparation, and digital etiquette. You will be expected to deliver the Employability Skills curriculum over a 45-hour period in a classroom environment, ensuring high engagement levels among learners. Key areas of focus will include communication skills (verbal, non-verbal, written), interpersonal skills, time management, resume writing, interview readiness, digital etiquette, presentation skills, and confidence building. Practical learning methods like roleplays, group activities, and workplace scenarios will be utilized to enhance the learning experience. Furthermore, you will guide students through practical tasks such as drafting resumes, cover letters, participating in mock interviews, group discussions, and presentations. Monitoring student participation, providing individual feedback, and conducting assessments based on behavior, participation, and performance will also be part of your role. Collaborating with the program coordinator to improve training effectiveness and student placement readiness is essential. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of professional experience in corporate training, soft skills training, HR, or related fields. Previous experience in teaching, training, or mentoring students is preferred. Fluency in spoken and written English is required, and knowledge of Tamil is an advantage. Strong facilitation skills and the ability to engage college-level learners are crucial. A student-centric approach, coupled with the ability to instill confidence and career awareness, is highly valued.
