The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, transparent, and responsive, embodying the brand's values and propositions to the fullest extent. High-performance individuals often surpass targets due to the extensive range of offerings, including 8,50,000 products in every major technology area. This role presents an opportunity for individuals to enhance their technical skills, commercial knowledge, and sales abilities within a dynamic environment. Sales Engineers at RS Components are expected to drive profitable sales growth, exhibit flexibility, and thrive in a fast-paced setting. Key qualifications and skills include leveraging customer experience to drive business opportunities, engaging in value-based sales, executing long-term commercial strategies, and conducting market research to analyze sales figures, reports, and trends. The primary objective of this sales role is to achieve and exceed sales and key customer metrics. Candidates should possess a minimum of 5+ years of sales experience in the industrial sector, with a strong focus on direct customer interaction. Field sales orientation, self-initiative, solution orientation, execution rigor, and excellent communication skills are imperative for success in this role. Key responsibilities include setting targets, managing costs, enhancing the average order value, breadth of purchases, and order frequency in the assigned territory. Sales Engineers are also responsible for maximizing customer engagement through effective call cycle management, preparing regular reports, maintaining data integrity, and promptly addressing inquiries and complaints. Additionally, identifying business enhancement opportunities and providing strategic input and feedback to management are essential components of this role. Successful candidates will demonstrate a deep understanding of customer profiles in the territory, possess direct sales experience in the industrial sector, conduct field visits to establish connections, exhibit self-initiation, solution-orientation, and execution rigor, and showcase excellent communication skills. While engineering or technology degrees are preferred, candidates with adequate customer knowledge may be considered even without these qualifications.,
