Social Teacher for High School

The High School Social Studies Teacher is responsible for creating a dynamic and engaging learning environment that promotes the understanding of history, geography, civics, economics, and current events. The teacher will develop and deliver curriculum-aligned lessons that foster critical thinking, cultural awareness, and informed citizenship in students from grades 8-10.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with state standards and school curriculum.
• Teach courses such as World History, U.S. History, Government, Economics, and Geography.
• Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to engage diverse learners.
• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, projects, and discussions.
• Promote an inclusive classroom culture that respects different perspectives and encourages respectful debate.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, staff meetings, and professional development activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and curriculum planning.
• Enforce school rules and policies to maintain a safe and productive learning environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

• Day shift
• Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Bangalore, Karnataka: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• teaching: 2 years (Preferred)
