Social Science Teacher - Secondary

You will be responsible for the following tasks as a Social Science Teacher at Arya Gurukul School: - Inculcate humane values of life that are a part of our cultural heritage and focus on students" well-being. - Maintain classroom discipline and keep track of class attendance by maintaining a register. - Plan, implement, and execute learning activities aligned with the curriculum as a facilitator. - Be present with students during assembly, mass drill, sports activities, and accompany them to the classroom. - Care for the physical and emotional well-being of the students and provide mentoring to encourage learning. - Encourage students in active, hands-on, and creative problem-based learning approaches. - Correct classwork and homework on a daily basis. - Collaborate with other professionals and staff members to ensure a conducive learning environment. - Align yourself with the vision and mission of the school and monitor and evaluate students" progress. - Interact with students with identified needs and communicate observations to parents regarding performance and behavior. - Maintain healthy relationships with superiors, colleagues, students, and parents while ensuring confidentiality of student records. - Provide equal treatment and opportunities to all students without bias or favoritism. - Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of the students and nurture their self-esteem. - Complete the syllabus within the specified time frame and maintain a daily logbook on pedagogy. - Identify students" needs and interests to enhance their learning experience.
