Role Overview:

As a Social Media Intern, you will support content planning, execution, and community engagement across LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp. Youll learn how to leverage AI insights, optimise campaigns in real time, and measure performance against KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Draft and schedule posts, carousels, stories, and short videos aligned with our content pillars

- Monitor and moderate comments, DMs, and community interactions

- Research industry trends, hashtags, and competitor activity to inform content ideas

- Assist with graphic design using Canva or Adobe Spark for platform-specific formats

- Help set up and run basic paid promotions (Facebook/Instagram Ads Manager)

- Track key metrics (reach, engagement, clicks) and prepare weekly performance reports

- Support WhatsApp broadcast campaigns and group engagement under supervision

- Brainstorm creative engagement tactics (polls, challenges, AMAs) to boost interaction

- Coordinate with the CEO and content team to align personal and company page messaging

Qualifications:

- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

- Strong written and verbal English skills; ability to craft clear, concise, engaging copy

- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp Business features

- Basic knowledge of social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, or native scheduling)

- Comfortable with simple graphic design and video editing tools

- Curious about AI applications in marketing and eager to learn new technologies

- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

- Team player with a proactive attitude and strong communication skills
