Social Media Intern

Job Summary

We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, and motivated Social Media Intern to support our social media and digital marketing efforts. The intern will assist in content creation, platform management, community engagement, and performance tracking across multiple social media channels. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn, experiment with digital trends, and gain hands-on experience in the education marketing space.

Host 2 Unlimited is a Digital Partner for Educational Institutions including International Schools, Colleges, Campuses, and Universities. Our core services include Digital Marketing, Content Marketing, Branding, Public Relations, Influencer Engagements & PR, SEO, Admission Marketing, Reputation Management, Video Storytelling, and Event Promotions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating, curating, and scheduling content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Support the planning and execution of weekly and monthly content calendars.
• Help monitor comments, messages, and interactions to ensure timely and professional responses.
• Coordinate with designers and content teams to maintain brand consistency.
• Capture photos and videos on-site using iPhones for daily school activities and events.
• Upload approved creatives to the designated campaign folders with proper tagging and credits.
• Assist in tracking social media performance (reach, engagement, follower growth).
• Research current social media trends, hashtags, and content formats.
• Observe competitor activity and share insights with the team.
• Support social media campaigns for events, admissions, and branding initiatives.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Strong interest in social media, content creation, and digital marketing.
• Basic knowledge of platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
• Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and take feedback positively.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Reels, Stories, and short-form video content.
• Familiarity with editing tools such as InShot, VN, CapCut, or Clipchamp.
• Creativity, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Stipend

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
