Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in the Kolkata for a Social Media Manager. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing social media platforms, developing and implementing social media strategies, creating and curating content, optimizing social media profiles for engagement, and monitoring performance metrics.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies that align with our brand objectives and target audience.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance metrics to optimize engagement and reach.
  • Create compelling content tailored for various platforms, ensuring consistency in voice and style.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to integrate social media campaigns with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Engage with followers, responding to comments and messages to foster a vibrant online community.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging platforms to keep our strategies innovative and effective.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance tracking.
  • Conduct competitor analysis to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.
  • Train and mentor junior team members, promoting a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Work with influencers and partners to expand our reach and enhance brand credibility.

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience in social media management or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for storytelling.
  • Ability to analyze data and derive actionable insights to inform strategy.
  • Creative mindset with a passion for developing engaging content.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics software.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools and video editing software is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of SEO and digital marketing principles is advantageous.
  • Knowledge in Meta and Google Ads.
  • Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills.
  • Client Services and Portfolio Management of clients.

Content Creation And Management

  • Create engaging and high-quality content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and infographics.
  • Collaborate with graphic designers, videographers, and copywriters to develop compelling visual and written content.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, messaging, and visual identity across all social media channels.
  • Use content management tools or platforms to schedule and publish posts at optimal times.‍‍

Community Engagement And Relationship Building

  • Monitor social media channels for mentions, comments, and messages, and respond promptly and professionally.
  • Foster meaningful interactions with the audience by actively engaging in conversations and addressing inquiries or concerns.
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers, brand advocates, and partners to amplify brand reach and engagement.
  • Develop and implement strategies to grow the organization's social media followers and increase audience engagement.

Performance Analysis And Reporting

  • Track and analyze social media metrics, such as reach, engagement, conversion rates, and audience demographics.
  • Identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement based on data analysis.
  • Prepare regular performance reports, including key findings, actionable recommendations, and future campaign ideas.

Social Media Advertising

  • Plan, execute, and optimize social media advertising campaigns to reach specific target audiences and marketing objectives.
  • Utilize targeting options, such as demographics, interests, and custom audiences, to maximize ad effectiveness.
  • Monitor ad performance, adjust budgets and bidding strategies, and provide recommendations for improving campaign ROI.
