Job Title: Social Media Marketing Manager
Job Overview
As the Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy. You will create engaging content, manage campaigns, and analyze performance metrics to ensure were maximizing our social media presence to reach our target audience and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy Development: Create and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and lead generation across multiple platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
Content Creation & Management: Develop creative and engaging content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and captions, to post on social media channels.
Community Engagement : Foster an active and engaged community by responding to comments, direct messages, and mentions, while maintaining a positive brand presence.
Campaign Management : Oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of paid social media campaigns, including budget allocation and performance analysis.
Analytics & Reporting: Analyze social media metrics and performance reports to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies. Use insights to optimize future efforts.
Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing team members (e.g., content creators, designers, copywriters) to align on messaging and ensure a cohesive brand voice across all channels.
Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on social media trends, algorithm changes, and emerging platforms, and adapt strategies accordingly.
Brand Voice: Ensure that all social media content aligns with the company's voice, values, and goals, while remaining on-brand and authentic.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications
Proven experience (2+ years) in social media marketing or a related field, with a strong portfolio of successful campaigns.
Proficiency in social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc.) and social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent understanding of social media metrics and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Social Insights, etc.).
Creative thinker with an eye for design and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
Knowledge of SEO and paid social strategies is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Experience in influencer marketing and partnerships.
Video editing skills (using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or Canva).
Knowledge of email marketing and CRM platforms.
