We are looking for Guidewire developer. Candidate must have experience in guidewire applications: policy center etc. Candidate have experience in gosu programming with java. Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and performance tuning.

Role & responsibilities * Minimum 4 /7/8 years of IT experience, with Minimum 3 years of working experience as Full Stack Developer. Prefer at least 1 years in Product Company as an Employee or Client working as Java Developer. Experience on web application development using Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot frameworks, Hibernate, SOAP/REST APIs and Database HANA is added Advantage. * Experience in Development of on SAP Ariba Applications will be preferred. Experience in developing UI pages using HTML 5, CSS 3, and any Frontend Technologies. Expertise in scripting languages like Angular, Typescript, and JavaScript. Hands on Experience in Debugging the production issues and customer defects. Strong programming skills to understand the Custom APIs developed on top of HTML and JAVA languages, as well as the ability to read, analyze and code review the complex codebases written by other developers. Experience on REST Webservices and Microservices is an added advantage. Hands on Experience in debugging the customer Issues on Frond end and Backend is critical. Experience in object-oriented programming & concepts, and MVC design patterns. Experience in writing SQL queries and knowledge in handling RDBM systems like SQL Server, Oracle, and HANA. Ability to read and understand other scripting languages and third-party libraries. Task assignment, Ensure SLA compliance, Individual contributor, Automation, Conduct Quality Checks. Experience in using tools like Eclipse, Visual studio, Postman, GitHub, JIRA, and other tools. Defect management tools like JIRA, Communication & collaboration management thru confluence/slack/teams are favorable. Highly motivated with good interpersonal skills and strong communication skills. Job Purpose Designs, develops, and implements Java applications to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, writes code and performs unit and functional testing of software. Contributes to the overall architecture and standards of the group, acts as an SME and plays a software governance role. Key Activities / Outputs • Work closely with business analysts to analyse and understand the business requirements and business case, in order to produce simple, cost effective and innovative solution designs • Implement the designed solutions in the required development language (typically Java) in accordance with the Vitality Group standards, processes, tools and frameworks • Testing the quality of produced software thoroughly through participation in code reviews, the use of static code analysis tools, creation and execution of unit tests, functional regression tests, load tests and stress tests and evaluating the results of performance metrics collected on the software. • Participate in feasibility studies, proof of concepts, JAD sessions, estimation and costing sessions, evaluate and review programming methods, tools and standards, etc. • Maintain the system in production and provide support in the form of query resolution and defect fixes • Prepare the necessary technical documentation including payload definitions, class diagrams, activity diagrams, ERDs, operational and support documentation, etc • Driving the skills development of team members, coaching of team members for performance and coaching on career development, recruitment, staff training, performance management, etc Technical Skills or Knowledge Extensive experience working with Java, Solid understanding of Object Orientated programming fundamentals, Needs to have a high-level understanding of the common frameworks in the Java technology stack, Extensive knowledge of design patterns and the ability to recognize and apply them, Spring, Hibernate, Junit, SOA, Microservices, Docker, Data Modelling, UML, SQL, SoapUI (SOAP) / REST client (JSON), Architectural Styles, Kafka, Zookeeper, Zuul, Eureka, Obsidian, Elasticsearch, Kibana, FluentD Preferred Technical Skills (Would be advantageous) This position is a hybrid role based in Hyderabad which requires you to be in the office on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
