Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oracle SOA Administrator to manage, maintain, and support Oracle SOA Suite environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Fusion Middleware, performance tuning, and high-availability configurations, with a focus on delivering stable, scalable, and secure SOA/OBIEE-based integrations. Key Responsibilities SOA Install, configure, upgrade, and patch Oracle SOA Suite, OSB (Oracle Service Bus) , WebLogic Server, and related middleware components. Monitor and maintain SOA infrastructure health, performance, and availability. Deploy composite applications, manage service lifecycles, and troubleshoot integration issues. Administer and tune Oracle WebLogic SOA Server for optimal performance and reliability. Implement and maintain security policies, user roles, SSL certificates, and access controls. Collaborate with development teams to support CI/CD pipelines for SOA services. Automate routine administrative tasks and build scripts for deployments and monitoring. Analyze logs, monitor metrics, and respond to system alerts and incidents. Ensure compliance with enterprise IT policies and change management procedures. Provide on-call support and assist during production outages or upgrades. Required Skills & Qualifications SOA Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 3–7 years of experience with Oracle SOA/OSB Suite (11g/12c) administration. Hands-on experience with Oracle WebLogic Server, SOA/OSB , and JDeveloper. Proficiency in Unix/Linux/Windows environments and shell scripting. Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills. Solid understanding of XML, XSD, WSDL, BPEL, XSLT, and SOAP/REST web services. Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, OEM, Splunk, or AppDynamics (Good to Have). Familiarity with Oracle DB connectivity, including JDBC and data source tuning. Experience with load balancers and clustering. Required Skills & Qualifications – OAS Proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills. Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams. Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications Oracle certifications (SOA Suite, WebLogic, etc.). Experience with High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies. Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, or cloud platforms (OCI, AWS, Azure) for middleware deployments. Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Git, Ansible, or Terraform. Preferred / Good-to-Have Experience with OBIEE to OAS migration projects. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) or other cloud BI solutions. Exposure to other Oracle products such as Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) or Oracle SOA Suite extensions. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, ServiceNow).
