Job Description

Role:

Location: Remote

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
6+ years of hands-on experience as a Data Engineer or Snowflake Developer.
Demonstrable experience with Snowflake Cortex, including practical application of its AI/ML functions (e.g., COMPLETION, EMBED_TEXT, TRANSLATE, SUMMARIZE_TEXT, SENTIMENT).
Strong proficiency in SQL development, optimization, and query tuning on Snowflake.
Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ELT/ETL principles.
Experience with other Snowflake features such as Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, Stored Procedures, and Time Travel.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and integrating them with Snowflake.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration abilities
