Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven experience as a Data Engineer with a focus on data ingestion and ETL processes. - Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages such as Python or Java. - Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, with experience on AWS Lambda being a must. - Experience with other ETL tools and technologies is a plus (e.g., Apache Airflow, Talend, Informatica). - Adherence to development best practices, including version control using Git and branching models. - Participation in scrum methodology, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. - Effective communication with team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and provide updates. - Ability to take ownership of assigned tasks and work independently to complete them.
