Snowflake Data Engineer

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science engineering or a related field
• Certification in Snowflake is preferred

Required Experience

• 3-5 years of total experience in

  data engineering and data pipeline development

• Hands-on experience with

  Snowflake / Data Build Tool(DBT)

   development

Essential skills

• Strong proficiency in

  SQL and Python

   for data processing and scripting
• Deep understanding of

  Snowflake, and DBT or other ETL / ELT data tools

•  Experience of

  data warehousing and data modelling

   concepts

Desired skills

• Exposure to data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
• Basic knowledge of SAP data models
• Basic business domain knowledge of Retail

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Delivery and Execution

• Write clean, modular

  SQL and Python code for data transformation, feature extraction, and data wrangling across large datasets.

   Participated in validation, performance tuning, and quality checks for datasets. 
• Having exposure to Agile Development processes. 
• Collaborate with Business Partners and other IT Partners.

Support and Enablement

• Support senior engineers in designing and optimizing scalable data workflows using Snowflake and DBT to meet enterprise-wide data integration, transformation, and reporting needs
• Maintain documentation for data processes and data models Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and team ceremonies
