TCS is hiring for Snowflake Data Engineer

Role:

Experience Range:

Notice Period:

Ex-TCSers are not allowed and experience range less than 5yrs will not be considered

Required Technical Skill Set:

Must Have:

2+ years of experience working with DBT in a production environment.
Strong SQL skills and experience with data modeling.
Experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
Understanding of ELT/ETL pipelines and modern data stack tools.
Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

Design, develop, and maintain data transformation workflows using DBT.
Collaborate with data analysts and business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into DBT models.
Implement and enforce data modeling best practices (e.g., star/snowflake schemas, normalization).
Monitor and optimize DBT runs for performance and reliability.
Maintain documentation for DBT models, sources, and tests.
Integrate DBT with modern data stacks (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, Airflow).
Implement data quality checks and testing using DBTs built-in testing framework.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement
