Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Snowflake / Cloud Database Developer with a strong background in modern data warehousing, cloud database technologies, and ETL development. The ideal candidate should have deep expertise in Snowflake, strong SQL and performance tuning skills, and experience with modern data platforms like Databricks and Spark. Experience: 5-8 Years Location: Bangalore | | Mumbai Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient data pipelines and workflows in Snowflake and other cloud-based data platforms. Optimize performance and scalability of data models and queries in a cloud data warehouse environment. Perform data modeling , database design, and data integration to support business intelligence and analytics. Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Participate in the development of detailed technical documentation including system architecture, data flows, and pipeline specifications. Work closely with global teams in agile environments to deliver high-quality, production-grade solutions. Required Skills: 48 years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, or cloud database development. Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse . Solid knowledge of data modeling , database architecture , and ETL pipeline design . Deep understanding of SQL with strong debugging and performance tuning capabilities. Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines in complex environments. Exposure to Spark and Databricks is highly desirable. Familiarity with cloud ecosystems, especially Azure (preferred) or other cloud platforms. Experience working in global teams and large-scale, enterprise-grade environments. Strong understanding of SDLC methodologies and commitment to software quality and best practices . Good to Have: Knowledge of Delta Lake , Azure Data Factory , or BigQuery . Experience with CI/CD pipelines and data governance best practices. Exposure to Agile development methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence, Git, etc.
