Job Title: SMT Maintenance Senior Engineer AOI (Model: JET) Category: Engineering / Maintenance Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech (Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering) Profession: SMT AOI Engineer (Troubleshooting, Preventive Maintenance) Location: Hyderabad Experience Required: 8 - 10 Years Employment Type: Full Time Role Summary We are looking for a Senior AOI Engineer with proven expertise in JET AOI machines . The role involves setup, programming, optimization, and troubleshooting of AOI systems to ensure high-quality PCB inspection and 100% defect detection. The engineer will also manage defect analysis, reporting, customer support, and process improvements. Key Responsibilities Independently create and optimize AOI inspection programs on JET AOI machines . Fine-tune parameters for solder joint inspection, component placement, polarity checks, and bridge/open detection. Analyze AOI images and reports to distinguish true defects from false calls. Prepare and share daily defect trend reports with QA and Process teams . Support FACA and 8D report generation using AOI findings. Perform routine calibration, preventive maintenance, and data backup of AOI systems. Coordinate with machine vendors for hardware/software troubleshooting . Present AOI inspection data and improvement actions during customer audits and meetings . Assist in analyzing and closing customer feedback related to AOI findings. Train and mentor junior engineers/operators on AOI operation, verification, and judgment criteria. Maintain updated SOPs, work instructions, and AOI operation logs . Qualifications & Skills Diploma / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering . 8 - 10 years of hands-on experience in SMT AOI systems (JET AOI preferred) . Strong expertise in troubleshooting and preventive maintenance . Excellent skills in data analysis, defect reporting, and documentation . Effective communication and customer interaction skills. Ability to lead technical training and mentor junior staff.
