Position : Service Engineer/Technical Engineer/ Senior Service Engineer/ Experience : 3-5 Years Location -Chennai & Bangalore Experience: Min 2-5 yrs of experience in Smt Products as Service Engineer Pls note travelling is a part of this job profile Qualification : BE/B.Tech (Electronic)/Diploma (Electronic)B.Sc(Electronic) Job Descriptions SMT Documentation: Prepare Maintenance related documents and breakdown history sheets. SMT Process verification report & first piece inspection report of every new product in SMT. Analyses Daily visual SMT inspection Data & take appropriate action to overcome defects at visual stage. Control Charts implementation. Calculate change over time in SMT & OEE of SMT machine Process Designing: Calculate the Tact time required for manufacturing the product as per customer requirement w.r.t. available resources. Optimum use of SMT machines and deploys Detailed Manufacturing Instructions (SOP), Process flow chart, PCB legends & Drawings to guide the man-power for doing first time right activity, thus improving Quality & Rejection Lean Operations: Take initiative in educating the Supervisors/ operators on Lean. Manufacturing concepts.Working as a team player & make them understand various. Elements of Lean and to achieve this through Kaizen Methodology and 5S. 8D CAPA: Corrective Action and Preventive action initialization to improve processes, product design/ accuracy and quality/ aesthetics. Responsibility to close the CAPA with D&D team with problem analysis and proper preventive action. Initiate Engineering Change notes to improve the product, cost, material & production. Technical Support & Process Audits: Conduct Process audits on SMT floor & checks calibration of all Electronic instruments used for testing PCB on assembly lines. Conduct Daily meeting with Process & Production team. Prepare & discuss Daily production abnormality report. Provide Technical support for PCB Electrical rework & production Team members analysis of Breakdowns in SMT , find root cause, schedule & plan Preventive Maintenance of SMT.
